Perspective: Atticus
Dear Journal,
Every year as Christmas approaches I have to brace myself and the children for everything that comes with the holidays. The good and the bad. Every year Jack, my brother, comes down for Christmas and Jem and Scout love it. This year he brought them air rifles which if they become a problem will have to be taken away. Scout has a hothead and so that may be a problem. I have already asked her several times but since I took on my latest case that has been of a problem. I am defending a black man and that has turned a lot of Maycomb against us. The children hear their parents talking about it and it filters into what they say to Scout and Jem. I have asked Scout several times to not get into fights but when we went to Finche's Landing to visit Alexandra and her son Francis.
Visits to Alexandra are taxing but this year was especially bad. She would not stop talking about how I was a "nigger lover" and had told her son all about it. Francis told Scout about everything and then unfortunately she got violent. Jack tried to calm her down but in the end just realized that he wasn't cut out for parenthood. I foresee a lot of trouble as this case starts and I can only hope the worst fallout of this case is a childish fistfight.

Has a lot of Atticus' opinions. But though he has this sort of shell on the outside, I don't think his inside thoughts are so monotone. But I love that fatherly approach. I feel like maybe Atticus would have more of an opinion on Tom Robinson's case himself.
you did well on it he is a person that keeps his feelings bottled up an he always tells his opinion about thing but on the in side i believe that he want s to tell the world what he is feeling so let it out don't hold back next time write with more anger an passion.
