Perspective: Piggy

We crashed on a island, we know it is an island because Ralph, Simon, and Jack all climbed to the top of the mountain on the island. They encountered a lot of some sort of pink rock on the way up. I think it might be some sort of granite. There is a lot of jungle and there are creepers ever where. But there is a reef with beautiful water that I wish I could swim in but I have asthma so my auntie says I can't. There is a platform of palm tree where we called all of the boys from. By the scar, which is where the plane crashed and skidded along the ground, there is a lot of fruit which will be helpful because we might be here along time. The efflorescence of the plants was amazing. All the boys on the island know me as Piggy which is the only thing I didn't want them to call me but thanks to Ralph everyone does now. I made a proffer of friendship and he didn't return it. Ralph hasn't been very nice to me lately now that that choir boy Jack has come along. Over all the boys seem nice but that one boy who keeps fainting is rather strange. Ralph got meaner when he became the leader I don't know why. Maybe because of the glamour. The reason that Ralph is the leader and not an adult is because the pilot died in the crash and we were all at a boarding school but we were sent away for our own safety because there is a war going on at home. I think the conch that made Ralph leader is important because it brought us all together. That is really only the reason he is in charge now. He is a symbol of communion But now it holds some power and who ever wields it is in charge. But if I had figured out how to blow it and I didn't have asthma then I could have been the leader. Jack also wanted to be leader but now he is just the leader of the boys choir. They have become the hunters on the island. They are a strange sort and I think their leader is the strangest of them all. Especially the boy with the strange pallor. Ralph seems partial to their leader Jack but Ralph can't keep a good secret and I am the smartest one on the island so I think in some ways I could have been a better leader then Ralph.
